1How important is it to know correct grammar?

2What kind of remedial classes will be provided for students who are not able to cope?

4Is it mandatory for a student to enroll for Pre-IELTS?

No, it is not mandatory for every test taker. However, our Pre-IELTS serves as the stepping stone in your journey towards IELTS. On one side it helps you improve your English Grammar and on the other hand it also helps you polish your spoken/communication skills.

5Is there any scholarship for the preparation programs?

Yes. TEC always promotes students who have a caliber to excel. There is a test (Assessment Test) conducted before the admissions and based on the performance in this test, a student is offered scholarships.

6What will happen if a candidate is unable to appear for the test?

In case a registered candidate fails to appear for their IELTS/PTE test, the candidate will be marked as an absentee and no refund will be made.

7How many times can I take these exams?

You can take these exams as many times as you wish to.

8What is the eligibility for sitting in such exams?

Candidates aged 16 years or above can take IELTS. For PTE, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must provide a signed parental consent form before taking the test. Above 18, you don't need this.

9What is the minimum and maximum age for appearing for IELTS and PTE?

There is no age limit for sitting for both of these exams.

10I don’t have enough vocabulary. Will you follow a book for it?

No, but you will have to practice a lot for it and we will provide you with an academic vocabulary booklet and also guide you about how to use so.

11When can a candidate reappear in the test?

For IELTS, a candidate can re-sit after 13 days of the previous attempt and for PTE after 5 days of the previous attempt.

12For how long will my score be valid?

IELTS and PTE score is valid for a maximum of two years.
